Charity of choice – To be determined

Liz Ellis is the most capped international player in the history of Australian Netball, she was a member of the National team from 1992 until 2007 and captain for the last four of those years.

This portrait captures Liz’s jubilation at the 2007 World Netball Championship, where she captained Australia to victory and where only she knew that this was to be her last game of netball, a moving and memorable moment.

In 2018 Liz was awarded the Officer of the order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to netball as an elite player and coach, her advocacy for young women, a contributor to the print and media industry and her services to the community.

In 2019 she was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Australian Women’s Health Sport Awards.
