AfricArt is a bright and bold series of acrylic paintings from my first solo exhibition in 2008 that tells the story of a wild and magnificent journey through the heart of Africa. My wife and I visited Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania to experience all of the colour and spirit that Africa has to offer.

We played Aussie rules football and cricket with our World Vision sponsor child and 500 of his school friends in Tanzania ... we sat with the endangered Mountain Gorilla’s in Rwanda, we explored the vast wilderness of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, we explored the sights and sounds of the markets in Kenya but most importantly, we met beautiful people who made us feel welcome.
